  3. Refreshed does one thing... It redraws everything on the screen.

  6. Why?  What for?
  7. ---------------
  8. Have ever had your screen not get redrawn (or completely redrawn), usually
  9. after a recoverable crash or just some fluke or bug in the application your
  10. were using at the time?
  11.  
  12. Well, with "Refresher", all you have to do is press Command + Shift + 4,
  13. and whoa-la, everything on the screen is redrawn, and windows refreshed!

  16. Try it out!
  17. -----------
  18. Included with this handy dandy screen refresher is also a screen
  19. messer-up'er!  This program upon double-clicking on it, will mess up your
  20. screen much like what I described above, but only worse!  A copy of
  21. Refresher is included "inside" of screen messer-up'er so you can try out
  22. Refresher BEFORE you install it into your system.

  25. How to Install and Configure Refresher
  26. --------------------------------------
  27. Refresher is an FKEY!  You can install it using FKEY installers, Quick
  28. Keys, or ResEdit.
  29.  
  30. For those who have ResEdit, you can install it, and I have given some steps
  31. below to on how to do it!  USE THE FOLLOWING TRIED AND TESTED STEPS AT YOUR
  32. ON RISK!  ResEdit can do nasty things to your System if not used correctly!
  33.  
  34. 1. Boot from "Disk Tools" or "System Startup" or "System Tools", part of
  35.    your set of System Software diskettes.
  36.  
  37. 2. Double-click on the "Refresher" icon.
  38.    (The one that looks like a jack-in-a-box document.)
  39.  
  40. 3. Once in ResEdit, choose "Open" from the File menu.  Find and open your
  41.    system suitcase that you want to install this FKEY into. (The system
  42.    suitcase is your "system file" in your "System Folder")
  43.  
  44. 4. Click on the "FKEY" resource in the "Refresher" window.
  45.  
  46. 5. Choose "Copy" from the Edit menu.
  47.  
  48. 6. Click on the "System" window, and chooser "Paste" from the Edit menu.
  49.  
  50. 7. Choose "Quit" from the File menu.  Make sure to answer "Yes" to all the
  51.    questions about saving before quitting!

  53. 8. Restart your computer -- Enjoy!

  58. Refresher requires System 7.0 or greater.

  63. There isn't one! Please use "refresher" at your own risk.  Refresher is
  64. freeware and maybe distributed freely, as long as all documentation is
  65. included.  Refresher may not be included as part of any package without my
  66. prior consent or knowledge.
